Young adults support

At Better Care and Support, we are committed to helping and encouraging young adults with emotional, behavioural, and learning difficulties to develop independence and become confident, valued members of society.

Our aim is to support young people in reaching their full potential through a dedicated, caring team of trained and passionate professionals. Our staff have extensive experience working with vulnerable and challenging young adults, delivering support with patience, respect, and understanding.

Our service focuses on promoting essential life skills through structured, planned activities, while also enabling access to social and leisure opportunities. This helps young adults build confidence, improve communication, and develop everyday independence.

We use a range of proven methods and intervention techniques to reduce the frequency and impact of challenging behaviours. Support is available for young people aged 18 years and over, allowing them to live safely and comfortably in the home they know and love. For individuals with higher support needs, we offer one-to-one or two-to-one support, depending on individual requirements.

Every individual is supported through a person-centred care plan, carefully developed to reflect their needs, wishes, goals, and abilities, ensuring truly tailored and meaningful support.

We encourage healthy, positive lifestyles through carefully planned activities that support emotional wellbeing, personal development, and social inclusion. Our approach helps young adults build resilience, reduce challenging behaviours, and develop skills that support long-term independence and wellbeing.
